New term of yoga classes is coming!
Some things will stay the same and some will change.
We will still be online. The days and times will stay the same too but I will be grouping the classes into courses around a theme this time. The courses will be paid for in advance so there will be no drop in option anymore.
I know that our lives are busy and I am very much aware of the tension any commitment might bring in. But I believe deeply that the only way to reap the benefits of yoga is to come to the mat even when times are hard, especially when the times are hard. And as people with many roles and responsibilities to juggle we need to deliberately carve the space for ourselves in our schedules so that we can meet whatever is coming with as full a cup as possible.
The courses will be 6 weeks long and will finish by the half term. In this way we will be able to delve a bit deeper and still have variety in our explorations.
So here are the details:
Yoga for healthy back
Monday, 12 pm
6 weeks, 1h classes.
Pretty much all the clients I have been seeing and all the people I have been talking to say their backs are calling for attention. So we will be focusing on spine mobility and strengthening the back. We will also work on the abdominal muscles that support us upright and moving without pain. This will be a gentle Hatha yoga class. We will work to cultivate awareness and address some common issues like lower back pain, upper back stiffness, posture, etc.
Investment for the whole course: £48
Term dates:
September 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th
October 4th, 11th
Introduction to Ashtanga yoga
Friday, 9:30 am
6 weeks, 1h classes.
Ashtanga Yoga is a strength building practice in which the sequence of poses is always the same. This makes it ideal to learn and practice on your own. Once you become familiar with it, it becomes a moving meditation. Each move is connected to the breath, either inhale or exhale, and our breathing naturally becomes the focal point of the practice. This course aims to equip you with a home practice so there will be homework involved. Each week after class you will receive a video with part of the practice we have worked on that you can do every day in the week. We will start with less, maybe 10-15 minutes and build on.
Investment for the whole course: £48
Term dates:
September 10th, 17th, 24th
October 1st, 8th, 15th
You can book by sending an email to info@warmhands.uk and letting me know which class you prefer.
See you on the mat for the new term of yoga classes!
