Who can benefit from private yoga classes

40+ people who are new to yoga

Typically yoga classes in a studio or a gym are not geared towards 40+ people who are new to yoga. Yoga though can be practiced and is beneficial for any age. If you feel uncomfortable with joining a class, working 1-2-1 is a good way to learn how to practice safely, at your own pace and fitness level.

People who want to introduce healthy movement in their lives

Yoga can help with many aches and pains, it can free our breathing, nourish tissues and joints, calm the nervous system. It can also facilitate focus, bring on relaxation, invigorate and energise. It is a good complement to many sport activities too.

People who are deconditioned or have restricted mobility

Yoga has many tools for every body. After all, it is not all Sun Salutations and Downward Dogs or sitting cross legged. So if you find it hard to come down and up from the floor, cannot spend 5 breaths inverted or supported on your arms, avoid kneeling or lying on your back, then we can always work standing and in a chair.

People who want to start a home practice

Starting a home practice is harder than it sounds. You may be very much aware that if you have tried to practice on your own. I can help you identify what you want to work on and then support you to develop a home practice to meet your goals. I have been practicing yoga for more than 15 years now and I myself have a daily home practice.

Do get in touch if you are in one of those groups of people who can benefit from private yoga classes. I will be happy to help.
