Oil massage on back, neck and shoulders is not traditionally part of Thai yoga massage. Nevertheless, many clients identify these areas as painful or tight, holding tension and stress and in need of more attention. Adding oil massage at the end of a Thai massage treatment enhances relaxation, reduces anxiety, improves circulation and sleep, increases endorphin levels.
How does it work
All Thai massage treatments can include oil massage on the back, neck and shoulders. You will need to remove your top only for the oil part of the massage and towels are used so that just the back, shoulders and neck are exposed.
I use non-allergenic grape seed oil, mixed with several drops of organic essential oils.
